\"\"While smoking has its own set of hazards, it\u2019s the passive smokers who too bear the brunt of its ill effects without indulging in the activity.<\/p>\n

Passive smoke or second hand smoke has been identified as “known human carcinogen.” Non-smokers who are in the vicinity of the smoke or smokers can contract number of diseases\u2014one and the most dangerous of them being lung cancer.<\/p>\n

The diseases house in the body of passive smokers through common and visible symptoms such as chest pain, inability to breathe properly, cough and secretion of mucous. Other hazards, though commonplace, prove extreme. Two of them being bronchitis and pneumonia that find their prey in children under the age of 18 months. Reports suggest that passive smoking<\/a> can result in death at an early age in children.<\/p>\n

Asthma attack is other health illness caused by inhaling smoke. Both adults and children suffer these attacks that make breathing extremely difficult. Researchers have also found a cause and effect relationship between smoking and breast cancer<\/a>. The study on rodents who have been a prototype to experiments for a long time now concludes that passive smoking may cause breast cancer in women.<\/p>\n

Given the consequences, industries such as tobacco companies issue a statutory warning on cigarette packs that spread awareness about the consumption of tobacco. Government, at large aims to prevent and stop its consumption. Besides warning on products, government, private industries and the public also make use of signs and posts to discourage smoking on the premises. Some of the places where one would find such signs are hospitals, gas stations and restaurants.<\/p>\n

\"No No Smoking Signs<\/a> deter the consumption of tobacco and thus prevent smoking itself. Restricting the area for smokers to consume tobacco keeps them in check (even though involuntarily) and keeps non smokers away from diseases caused by inhaling the hazardous smoke.<\/p>\n

Sometimes these signs can also come as an inner calling to smokers and may in the long term prove helpful in quitting all together.<\/p>\n
