href=\"https:\/\/www.osha.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/NAICScodesforelectronicsubmission.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">employers in high-risk industries <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with 20-249 employees, to report workplaces injuries and illnesses electronically. \u00a0This workplace injury and illness data will be published to OSHA\u2019s website, with personally identifiable information removed. \u00a0(<\/span>Many cities <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/site\/doh\/services\/restaurant-grades.page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">use a similar system<\/span><\/a> for restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicago.gov\/city\/en\/depts\/mayor\/press_room\/press_releases\/2015\/july\/mayor-emanuel-announces-new-innovative-system-to-prioritize-food.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">health inspections<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartsign.com\/watch-your-step-signs\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7992\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smartsign.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/avoid-injury-caution-sign-s-4417.png\" alt=\"avoid-injury-caution-sign-s-4417\" width=\"293\" regulations also ban employers from retaliating against employees who report injuries or illnesses. \u00a0The anti-retaliation provision takes effect December 1, 2016. \u00a0(The anti-retaliation provision was originally meant to take effect in August, but the implementation was delayed by a lawsuit filed in Texas.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new regulations are located at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2016\/05\/20\/2016-11817\/improve-tracking-of-workplace-injuries-and-illnesses-correction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">81 FR 31854<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and 81 FR 29624<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0State OSHA agencies are
