It is exactly as described. I gave them to others as a gift and they loved them. It did not work for me since I tend to lose track of the permit holder. I take it off and put it in the center console, above visor or it slides down between the seats and I lose track. The horizontal holder works best for me. I cant fault it for my inability to keep track of things though.
