Better than nothing

This is the type of sign we needed. However, it is large but difficult to read. The colors available should also be black on white or something that is more noticeable. It's also very wordy. A car needs to stop in front of the sign to be able to read the entire sign. I hope it gets the message across but it isn't a stern deterrent.
