Stay safe, everyone!

If you’re one of the 28 million people facing blizzard conditions in the Northeast, chances are you’ve already braved long lines at the grocery store, tested your flashlights, and loaded up your Netflix queue in preparation. If you haven’t, get on it now.

Winter Storm Juno is expected to bring between one and three feet of snow, winds up to 55 mph, and coastal flooding to seven states. Here in New York, travel by road, rail, and even sidewalk is not recommended.

Make sure you have matches (you can still light your gas stove, even if there are power outages), candles, flashlights, potable water, nonperishable food items, batteries, and a backup cell phone battery.

Got it? Good. Now, go home and stay there until the plows come out and your local authorities give the all clear.
